Dear Friends,

A brand-new year has cracked open, and before we rush headlong into it, I want to pause, turn around, and bow a little. Maybe even a lot.

-- To those of you who came to the Feathered Pipe for the very first time in 2025, or who are packing your bags and your curiosity for a first visit in the year ahead, thank you. Truly. You are not just guests; you are the spark. You bring the place to life by showing up with open hearts, muddy boots, sore hips, big questions, and that unmistakable “something’s happening here” look in your eyes. You are why we do what we do.

-- To our extraordinary staff: the steady hands, early risers, late-night problem solvers, quiet miracle workers, and people who notice everything before anyone else does, thank you. So much of what you do hums beautifully behind the scenes, unseen but essential. Those of us back there with you see it. And we are endlessly grateful.

-- To our Executive Director, Crystal Water—captain of the ship, reader of the weather, holder of the long view—thank you for navigating some truly mighty waves of change with grace, intelligence, humor, and heart. Not all of that work is visible, but wow has it mattered. The ship is steady because of you.

-- To our donors: thank you for loving this place in such a practical, generous, future-minded way. Because of you, the Feathered Pipe Ranch continues to be cared for, repaired, imagined, and improved—yes, including the much-anticipated Forest Bathhouse (collective happy sigh). Your generosity also fuels our scholarship fund, helping ensure that the Feathered Pipe remains a place of welcome and possibility for people who might not otherwise be able to come.

-- And finally, to the land itself, thank you for holding us. For the trees and the sky and the quiet intelligence of this valley. For the way the land teaches without speaking and welcomes without conditions. So? Friends of Feathered Pipe, Here’s to a new year full of connection, rhythm, rest, laughter, good work, and the kind of hope that grows when people and place meet each other well.

With deep gratitude and a little awe,
Anne Jablonski
Feathered Pipe Foundation Board President
