"I feel I live in a cathedral...It’s what God, or that energy or that force, put here. That’s what I get to enjoy every day, to look at that with thanks every day. Thank you for being here. Thank you for this house. Thank you for these people that I get to associate with. Everything. It’s just a big thank you. Just give thanks for what you have."
~ Tom Ryan
Dear Friends,
Spring is springing and the Ranch is finding it’s divine rhythm once again! The birds are singing, the dandelions are blooming and our short-term resident geese…well, they are pooping all over the lawn, but we will clean it up before you get here. :-) There is a special sweetness in being here to witness the slow unfurling as the season begins, as the land reawakens from winter slumber.
I had the distinct honor and privilege of staying at the Ranch, in the Lake Cabin, through this past winter. And let me tell you, what a cozy cabin that is! I was snug as a bug with the propane fireplace and central heating held tight by those beautiful natural logs,
watching the snow fall and the lake freeze through the big picture windows. Just heaven!
The daily walks around the grounds were a highlight for sure; winding through the trees, up to the stupa and around the edges of the lake. Slightly different routes each day (except when the snow was mid-thigh deep! Then it was along the trudged path or sinking in laughter with every step!), sharing love and gratitude with the trees, earth and sky as I strolled.
I remember being absolutely gleeful the first full moon night I was here. I looked out the window and was immediately awestruck by the glowing light I witnessed. My eyes widened and a huge giggle escaped me. There was a cover of clouds that night and I could not actually see
where the moon was originating the light; it was just the entire sky dome and everything in it glowing a sparkly snow kissed soft grey white. I quickly grabbed my boots and hoodie and rushed out into what felt like an entire universe of twinkling starlight. It was absolutely magical to twirl and dance with the trees under that mystical light. I shall never forget the experience.
Onward into the Light
I spent most of the winter mesmerized by the wonders of this heart land. And now my focus shifts to the excitement of preparing the Ranch for another season of sharing love and holding space for rest, rejuvenation, and deep healing. The staff has been trickling in little by little,
each one bright eyed and eager, bringing stories of their off-season adventures. We are excited to share these smiles and stories with you too.
It’s our 50th anniversary of retreat programs here at the Ranch and we are thrilled to invite you to join us for the celebrations. We will be feeling festive all season, though the official 3-day celebration will be held July 18-20. Our hearts will be overflowing with bursting joy as the air is filled with music and sweet connection and our bellies are filled with delicious and nourishing meals. The event is
completely free, though we will appreciate your pre-registration so we can plan how much food to make! Please register here.
We hope to see you here!
With much love and brightness, and many heart emojis,
Diana Q Bowers

Creativity: The Way of Intuition – Teresa Gonzalez
Intuition is a big part of my teaching, and way of moving through everyday life. It can be nurtured through practice, meditation and trust. When I bring that into nature everything works perfectly, it just becomes part of the place, it belongs, it’s like hOMe.
