“The world is waking up to unity. The world is not going down the tubes. The world is going through this transitional, transformational heavy-duty reconfiguration process…hard, for everybody…It’s easy to get bummed out…But human consciousness is waking up to the fact of unity.”
~ Erich Schiffmann
Dear Friends,
The universe is always in a state of change, but the changes of the last few months have felt especially large and close to home and therefore especially disorientating. I don’t know about you, but it’s prompting all kinds of fear and anxiety in me. And also inspiration and motivation to do something that brings people together rather than tearing them apart. But what and how?
Those thoughts bring me back to Feathered Pipe. We are getting ready for our 50th anniversary season at Feathered Pipe Ranch and reflecting about our purpose. How can we—both as an organization and collectively with one another—make the most positive difference within our own circle of influence?
Love All, Serve All
At the core of Feathered Pipe’s mission is to be of service and live love. We do that through creating community (we are in this together) and experiencing, learning, and
teaching consciousness raising modalities. This has a ripple effect into the broader world.
Aside from offering the Ranch as a sanctuary for people to revive and reset, we also have been making a big effort to help people to be able to come who would otherwise be unable to afford it. We had set out to award $50,000 of scholarships for this season, but there was so much demand that we have awarded over $100,000 in scholarships!
Investing (time, energy, money) in love and service will give the highest rate of return in moving towards consciousness. Of this I am convinced.
Transforming Intention Into Positive Action
Going on retreat or meditating is not to become complacent, nor do they serve as replacements for proactivity. Rather, they help you to be able to act from a place of love rather than fear. In actively engaging in service and working towards the things that
matter most, we each contribute towards a greater cause. When we do this together in a coordinated way, it is exponentially stronger and more effective.
Sharing a sweet message to remind us about waking up to unity and embodying hope, from an interview we did with Erich Schiffmann a while back.
Looking forward to being with you this summer and seeing how together we can make a positive future.
With love and gratitude,
Crystal Water
