Dear Friends,
Filled with gratitude for all of you who make this possible, I’d like to share what’s in store for ‘24 at Feathered Pipe.
Retreats at Feathered Pipe Ranch
The crown jewel of our work is the life-changing programming that takes place in the beautiful sanctuary known as Feathered Pipe Ranch. You can join us in person from May 31-Sept 27, 2024. View the retreat lineup here. If you plan to come, we recommend registering now to ensure your spot. We are honored to welcome many returning teachers as well as several new ones.
Feathered Pipe Scholarship Program will be open to apply February 12-26, 2024. Award amounts are between $500 and $1500 per person to defray the retreat cost for those who need some financial assistance.
Feathered Pipe Online
We continuously update our website to share educational and practical information and visual delights as well as services to unite our community all around the world. Here are just a few things we offer free to all…
Original blog articles from us and the FP community published every 2-3 weeks and announced through our newsletter. Jess Cartwright launches us this year with an important topic - You Deserve to Receive (see below). Do you want to share your wisdom with the community through a guest article? Contact
Crystal to inquire.
Inspired@FeatheredPipe Project shares art, music, photography, poetry, and stories that are created at or inspired by Feathered Pipe Ranch with its vibrant culture and eclectic community. The latest addition is Night Sky Meditation, a poem from Sheila Scott written during the 2023 Mindful Unplug. If you’d like to contribute to this project, email us.
Recipes from Feathered Pipe Kitchen - One of the highlights of coming to Feathered Pipe Ranch is the food. On our kitchen blog we publish some of our favorite recipes for you to try at home.
The Dandelion Effect Podcast - All episodes along with transcripts are available on our website. It’s fully searchable too. We aren’t producing any new episodes, but many of the episodes we made have timeless, useful, and entertaining information and ideas. Our grand finale episode An
Ode to Feathered Pipe Ranch gives a taste of the many reasons we all love Feathered Pipe.
Our Projects
We regularly embark on “good works” projects that support our mission and goals.
A few ongoing projects are: Feathered Pipe Ranch facility and service improvements, Native Plants & Pollinator Project to improve pollinator habitat while landscaping with Ranch with native plants, and FPF Marissa-Kanduri Helping Hands
Initiative to support our valued seasonal employees in their continued education and creative endeavors.
Please reach out any time if you want to help us with our projects. Beyond donating, some ways to help us are volunteering, attending a retreat, and helping spread the word by sharing and tagging on social media.
Thanks for being on this journey with us. May ‘24 have many good things in store for you.
With love and gratitude,
Crystal Water

You Deserve To Receive – Jessica Cartwright
In a world full of harshness and women being asked to do so much that our systems tend to be constantly overburdened – we need this.
Rest. Enjoyable options. People taking care of us. Women holding space for us while we process whatever life transition we’re in.

Poem By Sheila Scott: Night Sky Meditation
Sheila Scott came for the first time to the Feathered Pipe Ranch in 2023 for our Mindful Unplug retreat. She penned this poem following the "nightfall meditation practice." It's a contemplative evening/nighttime meditative sensory activity that takes place in an open area of the woods at the south boundary of the Ranch, with a largely unimpeded view to the sky.
