“As goofy as the little vision of the Ranch was, we all had foresight that this was worth doing. Even small things have a way of impacting the world—I can be in an airport in India, meet a handful of people and several of them have heard of the Ranch. It’s a ripple effect—and what you do has a direct effect on other people.”
~ India Supera
Dear Friends,
Happy Spring! I feel so uplifted this time of year as we are about to start another season at Feathered Pipe Ranch.
To soothe, or perhaps whet, our appetites for the Ranch, I’d like to invite you to a special Zoom event on April 8, 2023: Feathered Pipe Dream with India Supera.
India welcomes us into her amazing story by saying, “I don’t know how many of you believe in miracles. Like real, honest to God miracles, where it couldn’t happen except through divine intervention.” Her story, recorded at Feathered Pipe
Ranch by Erich Schiffmann in 2016, is for anyone who loves India, the Ranch, or is curious about what the Feathered Pipe is all about and how it all came (and stayed) together by way of miracle.
I will be there to join in with live conversation after the screening. Hope to see you at this feel-good and love-filled event. Register in advance here.
Zoom 9 am PT / Noon ET and will be about an hour and a half. FREE to attend.

Dream With Us
Recently a Feathered Pipe friend, Peabody, shared her idea with us to try some lucid dreaming as a group. As part of our continuing conscious visioning, we invite everyone in the Feathered Pipe community to put in some positive intentions the night of April 8th
to dream about Feathered Pipe Ranch and Foundation with love.
It seems like auspicious timing to do it in conjunction with India’s story and also with Easter. We will meet in our dreams and rise up.

Dandelion Effect Podcast
This week we are honored to have Dr. Helen Benjamin join us on the Dandelion Effect Podcast. While Helen was at the Feathered Pipe Ranch in 2022, she listened to Howard Levin tell his story of the hippie days and how India made it to Feathered Pipe. Coming of age in the same era but having grown up in the heart of the segregated South, she experienced a starkly different reality.
Helen candidly shares her inner process of alchemizing the feelings that can stem from injustice, her spiritual path and ability to find peace and freedom within, and the importance of documenting the stories of her community and preserving history in order to move forward.
I am grateful for her openness to have this conversation. Despite having lived through extreme adversity, Helen so clearly lives with love and has true faith in human potential. Her outlook on life and commitment to kindness reminds me so much of my mom. We carry the keys to happiness and peace in ourselves and from there can bring it into the world. Listen and be inspired - Rising From The Segregated South.
Wishing you sweet dreams,
Crystal Water

Finding Relationship Between Your Yoga, Therapeutics, And Healing – Lara Warren
Unlike dynamics that take a wrong turn off the mat, the return to neutrality, integration, harmony, and health can happen effortlessly in yoga. The move from dis-ease to ease can be immediate or take a long time to manifest; it can be commonplace or miraculous — if you have yet to experience this, stick around. You will.

Bubbe’s Lokshen Kugel: Grandma’s Noodle Casserole
Lokshen kugel is a dish that originated in early Renaissance Europe and is associated today with the Ashkenazi cuisine of Eastern Europe. The basic ingredients are egg noodles, butter, cottage cheese, sour cream, sugar, and cinnamon, with the dish often being served as a decadent sweet main course or dessert.
Our version is perhaps more of the semi-sweet variety as we usually omit adding sugar and, instead, rely on the natural sugars already present in the dried fruit.
